The purpose of the Purple Heart Trail is to create a symbolic and honorary system of road and locations to pay tributee to those awarded the Purple Heart Medal. Are you on the list?

The Chapter serves Coffee and Doughnuts to veterans at the Valdosta CBOC as a small thank you and provides camaraderie. We hope to expand this program to other VA facilities.
As Combat Wounded Veterans we recognize how important it is to know your loved ones are being taken care of back home. To do this we humbly serve holiday dinners to families of deployed service members.
Every Year we gather in South Georgia to honor our Veterans, First Responders and those that give back to our community. This event is open to the public. Named in memory of a Vietnam Combat Wounded Marine who returned home and spent his life striving to help veterans and their families, the chapter recognizes individuals who go above and beyond to help veterans across Georgia annually with this award.
Chapter 1000 recognizes those brave men and women who work tirelessly to protect our freedoms here at home. We humbly recognize a Law Enforcement Officer of the Year, Fire Fighter of the Year. from the departments across South Georgia.
